Admissions Information and Policies
Students already enrolled in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School and new students are admitted each year on the basis of available room and according to the following parent/student expectations.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, mindful of its mission to be witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students of all race, color and national and/or ethnic origin, to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school. Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship, and loan program and athletic and other school administered programs.
1. Admission Priority is given in the following order:
a) Siblings of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School;
b) Our Lady of Guadalupe Parishioners (Registered and supporting for at least a year or more);
c) Children transferring from another Catholic School;
d) Non-Catholics interested in enrolling their child/ren in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School.
2. Students must have evidences a Christian attitude and conform to school regulations. Students must have completed the required course of study for their grade level and meet the basic grade level requirements in the academic areas.
3. Parents agree to support of the religious instruction by regular and active participation in parish religious worship by weekly attendance at Mass, support of the sacramental programs for Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation, and active participation in parish activities. Parents also agree to the support of Archdiocesan and school policies, financial support of the school and parish.
